Mohammed Zeeshan and Mohammed Gulfam, the two Islamists who stabbed Ex-Muslim Saleem Wastik on February 27, have been killed in two separate encounters with the Uttar Pradesh police. The Indian Right is celebrating their killing. But should it? No. Because it is only the two believers who have died, the religion that made them believers, which is Islam, is still alive.
This hit me very strongly when I saw the CCTV footage of the inhuman incident. In the footage, the two Islamists can be seen entering Wastik’s residence wearing helmets. One grabbed Wastik, while the other kept on stabbing him. Cowards kept their helmets throughout. Same as when they pelt stones, they ensure that their faces are covered. However, nothing worked.
The phrases that can be heard during stabbing are: ‘Maaro saale ke’, ‘Zor se maaro saale ke’, ‘Pait mein maaro iske pait mein’, ‘Arey, koi naa hai, maaro’, ‘Huzoor ki shaan mein gustaakhi karega tu?’, ‘Mere nabi ki shaan mein bhaukega’, and ‘Saale, tujhe pata naa hai – kaun hai voh?’ (‘Beat the bastard’, ‘Beat him hard’, ‘Hit him in the stomach’, ‘Hey, there is no one, hit him’, ‘Will you insult the honour of the Lord?’, ‘Will you insult the honour of my Prophet?’, and ‘You bastard, you don’t know who he is?’)
Also, regarding Wastik’s condition: he has started responding to the sound.
When we are born, we are told to fold our hands and pray, in most cases, to whatever God our family believes in. Agreed that these two attackers were also made to do so, and as a result, they started believing in Islam and so in the (one who can’t be named).
But what made them continue their belief? Couldn’t they read the Hadith events in the life of the (one who can’t be named), or even listen to Wastik and use their brain to determine if the person whom they respect so much that they got ready to take someone’s life deserves that position or not?
Sahih Bukhari, which is considered one of the most authentic collections of reports of the Sunnah (actions) of the (one who can’t be named), says this:
Bukhari 34:432: ‘O Allah’s Apostle! We get female captives as our share of booty, and we are interested in their prices, what is your opinion about coitus interruptus?’ The Prophet said, ‘Do you really do that? It is better for you not to do it. No soul that which Allah has destined to exist, but will surely come into existence’.
In the above-quoted verse, those asking the (one who can’t be named) a question are his men. Also, just to inform those who aren’t aware, coitus interruptus means taking out of the penis before ejaculation during sexual intercourse. What also must be coming into your mind is the phrase ‘Bacche toh Allah ki den hain.’ Yes, this phrase seems to stem from this very Hadith. What also stems is the approval of the (one who can’t be named) for raping women who are captives of his gang’s men.
Then, Sahih Muslim, recognised as the second most authentic and reliable collection of Hadith in Islam, notes the following:
Muslim 3371: ‘We went out with Allah’s Messenger (may peace be upon him) on the expedition to the Bi’l-Mustaliq and took captive some excellent Arab women; and we desired them, for we were suffering from the absence of our wives, (but at the same time) we also desired ransom for them. So we decided to have sexual intercourse with them but by observing ‘azl (Withdrawing the male sexual organ before emission of semen to avoid-conception). But we said: We are doing an act whereas Allah’s Messenger is amongst us; why not ask him? So we asked Allah’s Messenger (may peace be upon him), and he said: It does not matter’.
‘It does not matter’ was said by the person who has to be obeyed, for which the verse goes: ‘Those who obey the Messenger obey Allah’ – Quran (4:80). I don’t know about others, but if I had been a Muslim, it definitely would have made me think if I would be doing right by even thinking of such a person, leave obedience. For me, if anyone is morally corrupt, there can be no further discussion with or of such a being.
Now, coming to the point that I made when I started this piece, that why we must not celebrate the killing of the two Islamists.
Whosoever believes in Allah and considers the (one who can’t be named) as his messenger is a Muslim. Those who don’t are non-believers / Kafirs.
Bukhari 1:2:7: Allah’s Apostle said: Islam is based on (the following) five (principles): (1) To testify that none has the right to be worshipped but Allah and Muhammad is Allah’s Apostle. (2) To offer the (compulsory congregational) prayers dutifully and perfectly. (3) To pay Zakat (i.e. obligatory charity). (4) To perform Hajj. (i.e. Pilgrimage to Mecca) (5) To observe fast during the month of Ramadan.
What’s the treatment laid down for the women and children of those who are attacked by Muslims?
Bukhari 52:256: Narrated As-Sab bin Jaththama:
The Prophet passed by me at a place called Al-Abwa or Waddan, and was asked whether it was permissible to attack the pagan warriors at night with the probability of exposing their women and children to danger. The Prophet replied, “They (i.e. women and children) are from them (i.e. pagans).” I also heard the Prophet saying, “The institution of Hima is invalid except for Allah and His Apostle.”
Muslim 4322: It is narrated by Sa’b b. Jaththama that he said (to the Holy Prophet): Messenger of Allah, we kill the children of the polytheists during the night raids. He said: They are from them.
That’s not it. The holy book (words of Allah) sanctions the death of all Kafirs.
Quran 9:123: O you who believe! Fight those of the disbelievers who are close to you, and let them find harshness in you, and know that Allah is with those who are the Al-Muttaqun (the pious).
Quran 9:29: Fight against those who (1) believe not in Allah, (2) nor in the Last Day, (3) nor forbid that which has been forbidden by Allah and His Messenger (4) and those who acknowledge not the religion of truth (i.e. Islam) among the people of the Scripture (Jews and Christians), until they pay the Jizyah with willing submission, and feel themselves subdued.
Quran 9:36: Verily, the number of months with Allah is twelve months (in a year), so was it ordained by Allah on the Day when He created the heavens and the earth; of them four are Sacred, (i.e. the 1st, the 7th, the 11th and the 12th months of the Islamic calendar). That is the right religion, so wrong not yourselves therein, and fight against the Mushrikun (polytheists, pagans, idolaters, disbelievers in the Oneness of Allah) collectively, as they fight against you collectively. But know that Allah is with those who are Al-Muttaqun (the pious).
If you ask me to put it in short: Allah allows for your killing just because you are not a Muslim and the (one who can’t be named) allows for your women to get raped by his men if you get defeated. My dear friends, please remember what I said in this piece and my last piece, that to ‘obey’ the ‘Messenger’ is to ‘obey’ the ‘Allah’. And now you are very much aware of the kind of thing that will happen if the so-called (one who can’t be named) or his Allah is followed. Describing the situation in a nutshell: this is a very long war and we haven’t started it yet.
